A pair of late Victorian to early Edwardian cufflinks set with natural carnelian gemstone panels, linked by short hand-formed silver chains. The stones are mounted using an early construction method, with irregular silver backing discs visible to the reverse - a characteristic feature of 19th-century stone-set cufflinks.
Unsigned examples of this type were commonly produced by small workshops. One stone has a small side chip, as shown in photos.
