NO NEW TREES WERE CUT DOWN TO MAKE THIS ITEM.
We use rescued
timber that has spent a long time being used for something else (usually
holding a building together), which means the tree was cut down a
lifetime ago. We have reworked the timber to make these and saved the
wood from going to landfill. A better option and more enviranmentally
friendly than plastic or energy hungry to produce metal or additive
included manmade board, etc.

We don't know what the wood was used for, but some
of the timber is very old (100+ years since it was a tree) and in
excellent condition - much too good to send to landfill or made in to firewood.
This is not a plastic sticker and will NOT peel off the wood, unlike others offered on ebay
