Beautiful collection of vintage recipes. Some handwritten, some cut from the back of boxes and containers, and clipped from newspapers.
These were taken from a home in Connecticut. They are lovingly organized, and were collected over a lifetime by a wonderful cook.
Most recipes are Americana from the 1970s and '80s.
Many of these are lovingly written by hand. Also some really cool vintage advertising/ephemera.
Any questions I'm happy to help.
These are the names on the individual envelopes:
Cakes, pizza, vegetables and stuffed potatoes, fruit cake and bread, beef meatloaf hamburgers, pies, seafood omelette and pudding, chicken turkey stuffing duck, pasta, eggs, quiche molds and relish, soup, lamb veal pork kielbasa, cookies muffins squares shredders, pies and crusts, and two more cake envelopes.
The box is in relatively poor condition, but still functions. It looks like a key lock, but it's not. Just push down on the button and the box will pop open.
