Today, we introduce Seiko's automatic watch, the "World Time 6217-7000." Launched in 1964 to coincide with the Tokyo Olympics, this was the first Japanese-made collection to feature a GMT function. It was also the memorable year that liberalized international travel for Japanese people, making this a masterpiece that was born out of the demands of the times.

This is the first model produced in 1964. It features the Cal. 6217A movement, which has no manual winding mechanism and features an inner rotating bezel with city names engraved on it. The case back features the Tokyo Olympic Torch mark, a feature exclusive to the first edition.

The dial is a mesh-patterned linen silver dial. It combines upright indices and pencil hands. The color-coded GMT (24-hour timekeeping) and inner bezel create a stylish design. The stainless steel case has a snapback and a round crown at 4 o'clock. The band is a third-party stainless steel bracelet.

Condition, Scratches, and Accessories
[Dial]
Light stains and dirt are visible. The lettering and markings are not faded or faded. The hands and indices are slightly deteriorated. The WORLD TIME logo shows signs of retouching and smudges.

[Case]
Scuffs, minor scratches, and dents are visible.

[Case Back]
Scratches from opening are visible. The engraving is faded and illegible. No major dents.

[Crystal]
This is not a box-shaped case. Scratches and minor scratches are visible. Visibility is fully maintained when worn.

[Bracelet]
This is a non-mark, third-party bracelet. It has scuffs, minor scratches, and signs of use. The FF case is not the correct size.

Daily accuracy is within 60 seconds over 24 hours. (There may be some variation depending on the position when worn.) The lug width is 19mm. The case diameter is approximately 37mm (excluding the crown), length (from lug to lug) is approximately 42mm, and thickness is approximately 13mm (including the crystal). The maximum wrist circumference is approximately 19cm.
