I recently acquired a superb collection of classical cd's from an early adopter of the format, a discerning collector who got a cd player in 1982 and began collecting from that point - apart from an occasional propensity for handwriting the timings of pieces in pen on the inside or back cover of the booklet, he looked after the discs very well and the actual discs are either in absolute mint or close to mint condition. Many are full silver West German, UK or Japanese pressings from the early part of the 1980's - if you're interested in these earlier higher quality pressings I'd urge you to have a look at my other listings, I try to accommodate the term "full silver" (if appropriate) into the title but this isn't always possible (or true, in the case of most EMI cd's for example), but you should be able to navigate the several 100 classical cd's I have listed with other search terms (composer names, No barcode, No IFPI, smooth case etc). The relatively rare cd's are priced realistically to reflect the scarcity of some of these pressings, but I am always open to negotiate particularly if you are interested in purchasing multiple items, so message me if this is appropriate. There are also 100's of not rare, not early pressings but these are also in great condition, worth a look!

• cd - light marks on the underside generally in excellent condition
• booklet - in near mint condition
• jewel case - light signs of wear generally in excellent condition

Postage is currently free in the UK, and I try to keep international postage as low as possible (I make a LOSS on posting abroad) - posting multiple discs is significantly cheaper (from 3 onwards) so always worth thinking about multiple purchases to keep relative postal costs low.
