Hand-signed in blue ink by Gerald R. Ford, then U.S. Congressman (R-MI) and future 38th President of the United States. The John F. Kennedy signature shown on the envelope is printed as part of the original cachet artwork and is not hand-signed.

The Gerald R. Ford autograph is authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA), certification number J47899 (sticker affixed to reverse).
