This is a beautifully preserved mid-century porcelain cigar ashtray produced by Heinrich Porzellan in Selb, Bavaria for the legendary Asbach Uralt brandy distillery. Dating to the 1950s–1960s, this was a high-quality promotional piece supplied to bars, hotels, and distributors rather than sold at retail. The deep dish, scalloped form, and wide cigar rests distinguish it from the far more common small cigarette trays made during the same period. The gold lettering and trim remain crisp and vibrant, giving this piece strong visual presence and authentic period character.
