Vintage 1956 Virginia automotive license plate, #23-906. This was the first year of white lettering on black, as opposed to black lettering on white. Good condition -- plate has not been painted, "restored," or otherwise messed with. All mounting holes are intact and there is little to no rust, just a handful of small scrapes and dings consistent with a 70-year old plate. See photos for detail. Thanks for looking!
