The kings of German thrash metal, Kreator, return with their first new album in four years!
A true masterpiece that perfectly fuses the brutality of the 1980s with sharp, melodic songwriting—an album that only Kreator could create.
Also available is a special edition with a bonus live disc, featuring a rare performance from 70000 Tons of Metal 2023, where the band played only early classic material.
Includes Japanese liner notes and lyric translations.
Alongside Sodom and Destruction, Kreator have continuously led the German thrash metal scene. Their classic albums from the 1980s—Endless Pain (1985), Pleasure to Kill (1986), and Terrible Certainty (1987)—are not merely legendary releases, but monumental works that have had an immeasurable influence on later death metal and black metal scenes.
Even in the 21st century, Kreator have never stopped pushing forward, continuing to release outstanding and challenging albums. In 2019, longtime bassist Christian Giesler departed after more than 20 years with the band, but Kreator quickly rebounded by welcoming Frédéric Leclercq (formerly of DragonForce) on bass. In 2022, they released Hate Über Alles, an ambitious album featuring orchestral and choral elements.
Now, four years later, Kreator unleash their brand-new album, “Krushers of the World.”
This release perfectly encapsulates their 40-year career—maintaining the raw aggression of the ’80s while incorporating strong melodic sensibilities. Crushingly powerful yet undeniably catchy, this balance is pure Kreator. The album clearly demonstrates why they have remained at the forefront of the German thrash metal scene for four decades.
A must-hear for all metal fans—this is a definitive thrash metal masterpiece worthy of true kings.
A bonus live CD edition is also available, featuring an exclusive performance from 70000 Tons of Metal 2023, where the band performed only early-era classics.
