The Kumho Road Venture AT52 is an all terrain, all weather tire made for SUVs and light trucks. Kumho offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with light trucks and a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with SUVs.

Kumho covers this tire model and size with its Road Hazard Warranty. This warranty is available for tires damaged by road hazards within the first 12 months after the purchase date, or until the first 3/32” of the tire tread wears away, whichever comes first! If this tire sustains road hazard damage (typically caused by nails, glass, or potholes) on its tread area, customers have a right to use the Road Hazard warranty for a Tire Replacement of an equivalent Kumho tire. To receive the Road Hazard warranty, customers with damaged tires must file a claim with Kumho Tires.

The tire greatly improves all weather traction. This model is certified for winter weather applications thanks to its exceptional year-round performance. Versatile tread blocks, with their siping placement, and the all weather compound increase dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges, even during severe winter conditions. Durable compound elements keep the tire pliable at various temperatures. During the on-road drive, the groove placement disperses water and slush from the footprint, effectively avoiding hydroplaning.

These tread elements also boost the tire's on- and off-road performance. The optimized block placement, with the sipe and groove details, helps to ensure constant surface contact on various terrains. This ensures the tire's exceptional soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. The detailed sidewall pattern provides extra biting edges, optimizing the forward motion through deep mud. The footprint is also kept clean. Mud and snow cannot pack between the tread elements, which further improves off-road driving safety.

The model lengthens its service life. The self-cleaning nature of the footprint avoids stone retention, as rocks are ejected from between the tread elements before they can hard the casing. The cut-and-chip resistant compound and the reinforced structure protect the tire from damage as well. Chipping, cracking, and tearing are avoided, while the structure is protected from external damage. The durable compound's wear-resistant rubber elements minimize tread wear. Stabilizing the footprint managed to avoid irregular wear as the driving pressure is evenly circulated across the footprint.

The Road Venture AT52 boosts its controllability with consistent road contact. As a result, the tire is able to improve handling and maneuvering. Better surface contact boosts the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability, while the shoulder elements enhance cornering. This makes sure the driver has exceptional control over the vehicle throughout the performance.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
