Unmarked white ceramic/porcelain bank in the shape of the Berlin Liberty Bell ~ donation from the USA to Berlin in 1950 based on the model of the "Liberty Bell", hanging in the Schöneberg town hall.


Top of bell bank is a cross with relief inscription "Berliner Sparkasse, Ein Stuck Berlin/ trans. Berlin Bank A piece of Berlin"


Band of figures joined by hands holding torches in relief, with inscription below "That this world under god shall have a new birth of freedom "


Measures 5 1/3” tall and 5” across base of bell


No chips cracks or any flaws found - excellent preowned condition.
