This is an authentic William B. Durgin Co. “New Art” Pattern Sterling Silver Cream/Sauce Ladle, measuring approximately 5½ inches long. Crafted between 1899–1910, this ladle showcases Durgin’s signature Rococo Revival scrollwork with deep, ornate curves along the handle and a beautifully scalloped bowl.
Made of solid .925 sterling silver, it bears the correct Durgin winged griffin hallmark along with the STERLING stamp. This is a genuine antique piece from one of America’s most respected silver manufacturers.
The ladle has not been machine-polished and displays normal, expected surface wear consistent with age. It will polish beautifully if the buyer prefers.
A wonderful addition for collectors of fine American sterling silver, Art Nouveau/Rococo tableware, or anyone looking to elevate their serving pieces with a unique antique.
