The United States Specialist Journal 1993 Full year BlueLakeStamps Timeless info
(BK24-YEAR - shelf
reference)
Please read all description!
The complete year as shown in title and photos.
Check store for additional years as I have 57 complete year sets to offer.
Generally good condition but expect some wear and other issues as they are 10 to 65 years old.
They likely all have a very slight aroma of being stored away for years. Not bad at all but if you give them a sniff you may detect. A bit of air and sunlight will cure this! You may notice this more on the earlier issues (Bureau Specialist) more so than later issues (United States Specialist). Either way not terrible.
Overall, I'm not even flipping through these. You should expect a few cut pages, minor moisture marks or damage, minor writing and such. I've not noticed any terrible damage on sorting the journals but I do see some minor issues. No deal killers but you should expect wear as these are old and used to various degrees. They are not pristine but also not torn up. I am only spot checking issues so I will definitely miss something.
The information contained within these pages is priceless!
Founded in 1930, The United States Specialist, originally named The Bureau Specialist, has been published continuously since, and is the world’s leading journal of modern U.S. philately. Many important discoveries in U.S. collecting have been published in its pages. Once concerned mainly with the output of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the Specialist now covers all U.S. issues, both classic and modern, regardless of the printer. Each month, articles by recognized specialists and scholars treat specific aspects of U.S. philately.
I will combine shipping if buying multiple similar items.

Any notes above this line are more
specific to this auction generally outlining condition.
Generally, a disclaimer applied
to all auctions.....
Stamps EXPECT faulty! Many nice
stamps (unless noted above otherwise) but these are old albums and
you should not expect all stamps to be fault free. I do not count stamps with a
fault that I notice. Stamps are in mixed condition. I have viewed thousands
of albums. Comments are made based on my experiences and may not be reflective
of the albums you have viewed. I do not look at many stamps closely....again
expect faults!
Some stamp estimates are roughly
fast counted estimates other numbers are simply a guess. Consider any
count numbers only a guide......a ROUGH ESTIMATE... a GUESS. Often I was
doing two things at once so mistakes could have happened!
Albums and pages - Expect faults. I
try to note. Some could be hidden (like loose pages). Some albums I sell
are well over 100 years old. Some are like new. They vary! Some could
be improved with library quality paper and fabric tapes. Page holes could be reinforced.
These are not considered defects as these are used albums and pages. Both could
include owner’s marks and notations on pages. Page completeness cannot be
assured. I try to review but there is no way for me to be certain all pages are
intact unless wrapped and new.
Common 3 ring binders – Condition is
given little consideration as they are so common and easily replaced. Review
photos for condition.
I have tried to note any exceptions.
Generally, postage can be combined.
I try to cover my costs and not make money on postage. Sometimes the
combined postage saving is great....sometimes not so much, just depends on the
material. eBay Global purchases are not able to be combined.
If you notice extended shipping
times it is due to conflicts I see that could cause a delay the day the auction
closes.....work, travel, family, weather...... I try to ship within 24 hours of
your payment. My default shipping is set at three days. Sometimes an unknown delay is unavoidable and I usually try
to send a note. Do not expect weekend shipment. Basically, I ship VERY fast
unless I cannot!
I only ship out of the United States
using the eBay Global Shipping Program. I cannot get around it if you purchase
and eBay does not ship to your location. I cannot cancel the transaction. I am
locked out of the transaction until you pay. Please do not purchase if your
country is not shipped to by eBay Global Shipping Program. Import or other
charges that could be imposed by others are your responsibility
and out of my control. eBay Global purchases are not able to be combined.
I will combine postage on most United
States destination items depending on packaging needed to ship the item. Please
ask for a revised shipping invoice before paying your eBay invoice.
Positive feedback is automatically
left for you after you do same for me. Otherwise, I tend to leave feedback
every 3-4 weeks.
My local post office is very small
with limited hours and services. I do not ship out of country unless using
the eBay Global Shipping Program.
Shipments mailed Monday to Friday.
Saturday hours are VERY limited at post office.
I recycle all the shipping
containers and packing material I can and use those for my
shipments. Doing my part to save the world one mailing at a
