Toner and Probe
The Triplett Fox & Hound 3399 Wire Tracing Kit features the Fox 2 Tone Generator and the high-performance Hound 3 Probe.
Fox 2 Tone Generator
The Fox 2 is battery operated and multi-functional and uses Triplett's own TrueTrace and TripLatch tests. It can generate multiple tones (pulse or warble), preform basic telephone line testing (loop mA, line polarity, and ringing voltage), and provides visual and audible continuity tests.
Hound 3 Inductive Amplifier
The Hound 3 has a 12" range and features a thumbwheel sensitivity control and signal strength indicator LED. Improved from previous designs with built in LED lights, a bandpass filter suppressing 60hz and unwanted high frequencies, an earphone jack, and an easy access battery cover.
Cable Detection
Easily detect various type of cables such as electrical wire, twisted pair, LAN cable, multi-conductor cable, telephone cable, and many more.
Everything You Need
This kit includes the Fox 2, the Hound 3, an RJ-11 to RJ-45 adapter, a plastic duck bill, a metal duck bill, headphones, and a sturdy weatherproof carry case.
