Overview: Up for sale is this fantastic and rare woodblock print by Gihachiro Okuyama (1907-1981). Okuyama was a prolific print artist from Sagae, Yamagata. His major background was from print advertising, but starting in the 1950's, he shifted toward producing original prints. This print is entitled, "Garden" and shows a beautiful Japanese garden in Kyoto. It comes with matting, though it is not affixed. There is some writing on the interior of the matting. Okuyama's seal is at lower right. Print is unframed.
Condition: Print is in good condition with moderate mat burn.
Measurements: Print measures approximately 9.5 inches high x 4.875 inches wide.
