This product is a set of four antique 8 point crosshatch glass and brass door knob sets with rosettes. The knobs are round in shape, clear in color, and are from the late 1800s or early 1900s. They are original antique pieces, made of brass and glass, with a salvage feature. These door knobs are from the United States and would add a touch of historical charm to any antique or vintage style décor.
- I cleaned up two of the sets. But, two could still use a cleaning and all of them could use a polishing.
- Three of the sets include the mortise lock and escutcheon, if “escutcheon” is the correct term.
- The forth set consists of 2 door knobs and escutcheons only; one of these door knobs has a set screw that I can’t loosen; the other door knob has a missing set screw (which you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot).
- The back of the round bass escutcheons are marked “3001”.
++ The sale also includes a 1” long hexagonal glass knob (shown in last photo) which may be of use.
- Please look at the photos for a description as they show exactly what you are buying.
