This elegant cotton and cotton blend 40's/50's Amish basket of chips quilt is all treadle machine pieced and hand quilted, with patches made from Amish work clothes, on a light blue background.
It measures 72" X 78" and is in very good condition, with a couple of small, faint spots, light surface dirt in places, and no wear.
There is hand quilting around the piecework and in a grid design in the background, all at 7 stitches to the inch.
The back and hand stitched binding are the same solid blue/green used in the border, and the batting is thin.
The WONDERFUL COLORS and CLASSIC DESIGN make this AUTHENTIC AMISH COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
