I purchased this $5 original charter note several years ago that was graded "Not Genuine 90" by PCSG.  The holder had been opened.  This note is from the First National Bank of Tamaqua, PA which is charter number 1219, but the note is over printed with charter 1502 the Merchants Natl Bank of Morgantown, WV.  Both banks were chartered at the same time in 1865.  I suspect an error by the Government Printing Office and this note is genuine.

I not sure PCSG is still doing business.
