Note on Part Number:  number cited is right off the motor's serial number tag.  Check your outboard's parts list for compatibility with the donor motor.  Smash that Contact seller icon if you need measurements to confirm fit. This may well fit models going back to the early 70's.

Running lower unit taken off a 1990's Nissan 25 HP 2-stroke short shaft motor,  model number NS25C2.  Fits similar Nissan and Tohatsu 25's and 30's; some sources indicate it fits Mercury models built by Tohatsu, too. Turns smoothly and shift rod moves into Forward and Reverse without any problem. There is a chunk of metal missing from the anti-ventilation* plate as shown but it won't hurt anything; live with it at the price or have your local welding shop fill it in.  Priced according to condition and shipping is at eBay's discounted rates for FedEx Ground.  Thanks for looking.

Reason for sale: The outboard has a badly frozen steering swivel so I'm parting it rather than putting more time and money into it. 

*Often erroneously termed "cavitation plate" but that's not the correct term; the plate keeps the propeller from ventilating - ie breaking the surface.
