Friedrich Heinrich Franz Heckendorf (1888-1962) war ein deutscher Maler und Grafiker, der besonders in der Weimarer Republik großen Erfolg hatte. Studium an der Berliner Kunstgewerbeschule und an der Berliner Akademie der Künste. Sonderausstellung in der Kestner-Gesellschaft in Hannover im Frühsommer 1918. Seine Bilder fanden Eingang in die Sammlungen prominenter demokratischer Politiker wie Matthias Erzberger und Walther Rathenau, und eines seiner Gemälde der Verfassungsfeier vor dem Berliner Reichstag von 1929, wurde vom Reichskanzler angekauft. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg, wirkend an der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien.

Friedrich Heinrich Franz Heckendorf (1888-1962) was a German painter and graphic artist who was particularly successful in the Weimar Republic. Studied at the Berlin School of Arts and Crafts and at the Berlin Academy of Arts. Special exhibition at the Kestner Society in Hanover in the early summer of 1918. His paintings found their way into the collections of prominent democratic politicians such as Matthias Erzberger and Walther Rathenau, and one of his paintings of the constitutional celebration in front of the Berlin Reichstag in 1929 was purchased by the Reich Chancellor. After the Second World War, working at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
