Offered for sale is a highly unusual and historically interesting 1976 Limit International automatic wristwatch, fitted with the East German–made Glashütte Spezimatic 75 automatic movement with 26 jewels and Incabloc shock protection.
This represents a rare Cold War crossover, where a British brand utilised a GDR Glashütte automatic movement, something only seen on a small number of production runs during the 1970s. Based on movement serial markings, manufacture is accurately dated to late 1976 (Oct–Dec), making this an excellent birth-year watch for a 1976 collector.
