TRP Slate EVO HD-M807 4 Piston Hydraulic Brakeset

A downhill-proven hydraulic brake system developed alongside World Cup champion Aaron Gwin and refined on the World Cup circuit. The Slate EVO transfers many of the performance improvements from TRP’s DH-R EVO into a trail-ready package, combining durable construction, refined ergonomics and improved hydraulic transfer for predictable stopping power.

Development background
TRP began working with Aaron Gwin in 2016. Testing and rider feedback led to widespread changes across the brake’s components during a World Cup season; several of those upgrades were adapted for the Slate trail brake.

Design and construction
The Slate EVO pairs an ergonomic cast-aluminium lever with a forged/CNC’d caliper, both finished in matte black. A stiffer 5.0 mm hose improves hydraulic transfer and simplifies internal routing. The system also benefits from a top-loading pad design, tool-free reach adjust and options for shifter integration.

Please note: when ordered as individual brakes they are supplied as EU spec so the front brake is on the left & the rear is on the right. They are supplied as a J-Kit, so when orders are as a pair, this does not matter.
