Stunning frame and repaint, completed by the excellent Universal Cycle Centre in  hard-to-match 'Caramel' colour. I;ve had a few frames done by them and they never disappoint.
Update - I had the chance to hold it against an origional one today and the repaint is a very slightly darker/metallic shade of the colour, you probably would have to have an origional one next to it to notice but wanted to point it out. I dropped two of these off in origioanl colour, picked them both up and didn't notice - not until today when putting it agaisnt a non-resprayed one. I think the fact its patina free makes up for it.

I had searched high and low for a good condition Gran Sport, and as happens...when I found one, another turned up so i bought both and UCC did repainted both for me as its a hard colour to match so most the work was in that. I've one built up, had ideas for this one but they won't happen hence sellling. Note it DOESN'T come with the headset parts that are in the photos, i pressed them in a while ago (using a proper press) but will remove before sending (with a proper headset drift). Selling for not much more than the cost of the repaint.
Update - I was keeping the forks back as the ones on my built one aren't great, but I sourced a very good condition frame and forks today so will probably use them, and have now added the orional forks to this listing. Depending on your own preferences they would benefit a rechrome but they are far from the worst I've seen. One dropout was repaired by Universal Cycle Centre, it had bent in so they cut it out and brazed a new (identical) one back in - so there are some torch marks and lack of chrome around the botttom of one leg. Its not that bad, tried to show in pictures - manin thing is with UCC repairing it it will be 100% structurally sound. I cracked a couple of dropouts back in the 80s in a similar manner, had them both rebrazed and never had one go on me.
