Ajax StarterKit Cam is a starter set of the Ajax wireless security system with alarm photo verification. The kit includes: the second-generation Hub 2 control panel, Ajax MotionCam motion detector with a camera, Ajax DoorProtect window/door opening sensor, and Ajax SpaceControl key fob.
Ajax provides unprecedented reaction speed: the system instantly notifies you and the security company about a break-in and sends a photo from the scene in under 9 seconds. Remote control via smartphone from anywhere in the world using iOS and Android apps. With just a few taps, you can configure sensors, activate partial arming, and check device status.
The Ajax StarterKit Cam easily connects to a monitoring station. A service request can be submitted directly from the mobile app.
The kit can be expanded with additional Ajax sensors, transforming the system into a solution that helps prevent intrusion, fire, and flooding.
Ajax detectors communicate with the Hub via the encrypted Jeweller radio protocol. The system range reaches up to 2000 meters in open space, allowing installation across multiple floors of a house or business center.
Jeweller ensures advanced security: the system instantly detects and reports early signs of intrusion, fire, or flooding. It provides strong anti-tamper protection — the owner and monitoring station receive instant alerts about jamming attempts, power loss, or detector opening. The polling frequency can be set as low as 12 seconds, ensuring constant device supervision. If a detector fails or is destroyed, the system alerts in under 0.15 seconds.
Photo verification uses the high-speed Wings protocol, built on Jeweller. Wings uses a dedicated antenna in Hub 2 for a stable connection and guarantees photo delivery even with low signal or unstable connection thanks to packet recheck and reload algorithms. Photo capture occurs only during alarm events, and all images are encrypted.
