This XXL Glass Side Bubbler for Medic, Mighty and Crafty (Including + Versions) by Storz and Bickel replaces the cooling unit of your device which is much more hygienic as you can wash this glass bubbler in alcohol without causing discoloration unlike your devices original cooling unit/plastic mouthpiece- and glass is also much more inert and non-toxic than plastic and therefore better for your health.
Water-cooling from a bubbler like this is not only the best form of cooling on the market but also rehydrates your vapour at the same time. Rehydration and cooling is important as the hot and dry vapour that comes out of the original cooling unit irritates the lungs which isn't good for your long term health as well as making for a less smooth hit. . It is made out of quartz glass to be far more heat resistant than is necessary. Filtering isn't as important with vapour but its still a nice to have just in case.
It can be used easily with one-hand thanks to the design of the bubbler, as well as being balanced with your device well enough to stand on its own while connected. This is partly due to the design of a side bubbler keeping the centre of gravity lower than a top bubbler. The connection between the bubbler and your device is sturdy and does not wobble. It features a 6 slit diffuser for a good balance between airflow and filtration.
Installation is Simple:
- Simply fill the XXL Glass Side Bubbler with water until the six diffuser slits are underwater, to check you haven't overfilled it take a strong draw, no water should enter your mouth
- Remove the original cooling unit from your device
- Add one of the stainless steel screens/gauze into the silicone adapter/locking collar as shown in pictures
- Attach one of the silicone bands (or more for added sturdiness) to the end of the XXL Glass Side Bubbler that connects to your device
- Push the XXL Glass Side Bubbler with the silicone band inside the silicone adapter/locking collar
- Twist the silicone adapter/locking collar onto your device as you would with the original cooling unit
- Enjoy!
