I'm trying to slim down my watches and have owned this watch for about 6 years. This fits a 6.5" wrist as is but does come with a extra link and pin if a little more length is needed. This watch was already polished before my ownership. Originally the watch finish was a matte grey. I can't tell if the original crystal was replaced or not but it does look slightly cloudy compared to my other Seiko watches.

There are light small scratches across original crystal but nothing that is too noticeable with the naked eye.

The most noticeable scratches are on the outside of the band (away from your body) and the clasp. The inside band, (towards your body) there is smaller, less noticeable scratches. There is one dent in the upper right divot of the case. (See pics 5 & 6) This watch is still very presentable for it's age.

For the age, this watch is in great condition and the Auto Relay functions correctly and returns to 24 time but will not update the date as functions manufacturing as intended.

These are very reliable movements. They are a hybrid between a quartz movement with a mechanical charging system that stores time when the charge runs low. The more you wear them, you extend the service of your capacitor. Quartz time keeping abilities without all the fully automatic constant time setting.

*Although this does have dive capabilities, I would not recommend submerging this watch in water as all the gaskets are old but should survive water splashes.*
