This is for a beautiful antique musical sewing box from around 1840. It has a top tray that pulls out to reveal storage underneath, and this top tray also has a smaller tray of sewing tools that pulls out and reveals a mirror underneath. Fixed in the base of the box is the music box. I dont know what tune it plays, but i have put up a video, the music plays well. The box is in very good condition, it looks really clean inside, there are a couple of tools missing, the larger scissors and the needle case, but it has a lovely pair of miniature fine steel scissors, a cut steel sewing clamp, a silver stiletto, a silver thimble, a mother of pearl bodkin and a mother of pearl thread waxer. The box measures 243mm by 170mm and it stands 100mm tall. One of the feet on the bottom is a replacement.
