A HIGHLY DESIRABLE RMS TITANIC COLLECTIBLE.

This styrofoam cup came back from the RMS Titanic in 2004. It was strapped to the side of the Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) in a net and traveled to the Titanic with Robert Ballard, 20 years after his discovery of the ocean liner.

Ballard's mission was to access the deterioration of the liner, and to analyze its state using ROV's and advanced technology. This trip from May 30 to June 9, 2004 was made into a documentary called "Titanic Revealed" for National Geographic. 

This cup, once a normal sized Styrofoam cup went to great depths and came back compressed after its deep dive in a submersible down to the site of the Titanic. The cup is now 2.5". It is in beautiful shape. 

The trip to the Titanic was supported by NOAA and National Geographic. This artifact is now up for auction. It has been signed by two primary members of the film crew - the film maker and the primary producer. It was signed to the primary producer back on land.
