While the German classic rock band PILEDRIVER gave an impressive statement of their decades-long live presence with the release of the opulent Live CD / Blu-ray / DVD box set "Live In Europe" from 2023, the band now celebrate their 30th anniversary with their new album "FIRST NATIONS ROCK", seven years after the release of their last studio album "ROCKWALL".

During the recording of their fifth album, band founders Michael Sommerhoff and Peter Wagner welcomed three new additions to the PILEDRIVER lineup: keyboardist Tom Frerich, bassist Jens Heisterhagen, and drummer Dirk Sengotta. Musically, the 14 new songs are truly a force to be reckoned with. PILEDRIVER demonstrate an impressive joy of playing throughout the entire recording, sure to delight any classic hard rock fan. Each song features catchy hook lines with a high degree of recognition. Rocky, always melodic, at times ballad-like and melancholic, and occasionally garnished with surprising elements, "FIRST NATIONS ROCK" represents a comforting consistency in a world – not just musically speaking – that has not always changed for the better, especially in recent years.

Stefan Kaufmann as producer, alongside Michael Sommerhoff, and Martin "Mattes" Pfeiffer, who was responsible for the mix and mastering, together ensure an excellently balanced, powerful, yet never overpowering, sound that such an album must have.

The new PILEDRIVER album will be released on November 14, 2025, as a CD in a lavish 6-page digipak with a 24-page booklet, as well as on a double gatefold 12" vinyl with a duplex-printed poster. On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the band will play an exclusive album release show at the Börse in Wuppertal.

Music videos for all 14 songs on the album were also shot at the Börse in Wuppertal. These will be released gradually over the coming months starting at the end of September on the official PILEDRIVER YouTube channel, accompanying the album release well into 2026.

Lieferte die deutsche Classic-Rock-Band PILEDRIVER mit der Veröffentlichung der opulenten Live CD / Blu-Ray / DVD Box „Live In Europe“ aus dem Jahre 2023 ein eindrucksvolles Statement ihrer jahrzehntelangen Live-Präsenz, feiert die Band sieben Jahre nach dem Release ihres letzten Studioalbums „ROCKWALL“ mit ihrem neuen Werk „FIRST NATIONS ROCK“ ihr 30-jähriges Bestehen.

Im Zuge der Aufnahmen zum nunmehr fünften Album verzeichneten die Bandgründer Michael Sommerhoff und Peter Wagner mit Keyboarder Tom Frerich, Bassist Jens Heisterhagen und Drummer Dirk Sengotta drei Neuzugänge im PILEDRIVER Line-Up. Musikalisch geht es auf den 14 neuen Songs wieder richtig zur Sache. PILEDRIVER zeigen über die gesamte Spielzeit eine eindrucksvolle Spielfreude, die jeden Classic-Hard-Rock Fan begeistern dürfte. Jeder Song bietet einprägsame Hooklines mit hohem Wiedererkennungswert; rockig, immer melodisch, manchmal auch balladesk-melancholisch und auch hier und da mit überraschenden Elementen garniert, repräsentiert „FIRST NATIONS ROCK“ eine wohltuende Beständigkeit in einer – nicht nur musikalisch zu betrachtenden - Welt, die sich insbesondere in den letzten Jahren nicht immer zum Besseren verändert hat.

Für alle 14 Songs des Albums wurden Musik-Videos ebenfalls in der Börse / Wuppertal gedreht. Diese werden ab Ende September auf dem offiziellen PILEDRIVER YouTube-Kanal sukzessive in den kommenden Monaten veröffentlicht und den Album-Release weit bis ins Jahr 2026 begleiten.
