Poole Silver Company #5030 Vintage 1940 Silverplate Old English Domed Chafing Dish – 5-Piece Set
Beautiful vintage Poole Silver Co. #5030 silverplate domed chafing dish, crafted in the early 1940s in the elegant Old English style. This impressive five-piece set includes the frame, domed lid, insert bowl with removable handle, water pan, and wick-style alcohol burner.
The ornate frame features lion’s head motif legs with classic claw feet, along with a rope-trimmed rim. The frame is exceptionally sturdy and supports the bowls securely, with the burner fitting neatly beneath for even heating. It also includes an 8" removable wooden handle that unscrews easily for storage or cleaning.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no major scratches and no dents. There is one small spot inside the insert bowl where the silverplate is slightly discolored, but it does not affect function and is only noticeable on close inspection. Please see close up photos.
