All Hallows College
DUBLIN, IRELAND
Filled with over 30 B&W Illustrations, the first seven pages of this rare volume of "All Hallows Annual" are written in Gaelic (the remainder of its 240 pages in English). Several, but not all, of the illustrations are shown in my photo section above.
This unique is a day-by-day diary of life at All Hallows College, Dublin, Ireland, during the period of 1909-10. Generally, these Annuals related to the history and records of this Irish Catholic
seminary, which was founded in 1842 and is now a campus of Dublin City
University. The records are often about missionary work and
correspondence with bishops around the world.
The cover on this particular book is tattered, not surpri8sing as it was created from a light-weight thin cardboard. Seeing that it's now 115 years old, it's a marvel that it survived this long! The inner pages are in very good condition -- without the tatters (and no visible tearing). The photos are excellent.
