For sale is a Lamy CP1 ballpoint pen in the brushed stainless-steel finish, marked W. Germany. This identifies it as an early, pre–reunification production model from the 1970s–1980s, before Lamy standardized the CP1 finishes.
The brushed steel version of the early CP1 is significantly more collectible than the black resin model. Combined with the W. Germany marking, this pen represents the original CP-series production influenced by Bauhaus designer Gerd A. Müller.
