Neck scarf piece can be lifted up to cover the face with a black hook and loop hand stitched. To tighten around face I recommend a saftey pin on the back of your head 

Hood piece, and scarf do not have batting, where as the mantle piece has 100% cotton batting on the front and back, this helps your chest and back piece keep structure, and leaves your hood and mask piece with great draping and flexibility
