The monitor can be powered by one of three methods:

1. Powered USB:

• If connected to a compatible Wincor Nixdorf/Diebold Nixdorf POS terminal (like a BEETLE system) using a Powered USB cable (which often looks like a Y-cable), the monitor can draw both data and power through this single connection. In this configuration, no separate external power supply is needed. 

2. PanelLink2

• It supports Diebold Nixdorf's proprietary PanelLink2™ interface, which is a single-cable solution for both power and data (video/). If connected to a PanelLink2-compatible POS terminal, no separate external power supply is needed. 

3. External Power Supply (Standard Setup):

• If you are connecting the BA93 to a standard PC via DVI or VGA for video and a standard USB-B cable, it will require an external 12V DC power supply plugged into its 12V DC power connector. 

• Specifications for External Power: The input is 12V DC. The typical power consumption is around 12W. A compatible, original power supply would be an external brick (adapter) rated for 12V DC output with a sufficient wattage (e.g., a Diebold Nixdorf 40W power supply is listed as an accessory for similar models).
