Note:

Please turn off the electrical power before rewiring any ceiling fan.

Wiring Steps:

1. Turn off the electrical power.

2. Make sure the existing light switch has 2 wires. If there are 3 wires, a three-wire switch is required.

3. Use a wire stripper to cut the two wires from the existing light switch.

4. Strip about 1/2 inch of the black wire.

5. Connect one of the black wires from the light switch to one of the black wires from the ceiling fan.

6. Connect the other black wire from the light switch to the other black wire from the ceiling fan.

7. Secure the connection between the wires by twisting the wire connector clockwise.

8. The wire connection must be secured, otherwise it may cause fire, electric shock or serious injury.
