This is a really delightful and very decorative PAIR of gilded French antique Piano candle holders in a really charming art nouveau/gothic design. These came from a local 'Manoir'; a large old French manor house.
Originally from a grand piano, I have seen these in Interiors magazines used to great effect, mounted on the wall either side of a fabulous bed in romantic French themed bedrooms. I have also seen them used in exterior settings to light a terrace, balcony or garden nook.
They are completely pivotable so that they can be angled in whatever direction you require. Each of the brackets has a threaded bolt with a nut to help fix them to the piano, this would adapt easily if you wanted to wall mount them. They fully dismantle easily for fixing and for cleaning.
In VERY GOOD antique condition with only the foxing and patina you would expect after over a 100 years. Please see ALL photos and remember they are pre-owned and pre-loved.
