On the .22 /.177 gauges please note that there is a double ring in the center of the gauge. 

The outer ring is the scoring ring for .22 calibre. 

The inner ring is only there to help center on the hole in the paper, it is NOT the .177 scoring ring. 

The .177 scoring ring is placed off to one side and does not have an inner ring.

Can be taken apart for cleaning
