Good Preowned Condition - Typical wear as is expected such as normal corner bumps and page discoloration and yellowing from age - There are several pages of underlining present and highlighting mainly in Volume 1.  Both books are stamped inside the front cover and the first page with the previous owners name and address.  He was a pastor and had these in the church library.  As such, he had affixed a library card system in the back for his congregation to "check out" the books.  See photos for a better idea of condition.
