A beautiful vintage saucer from Southern Potteries, part of the highly collectible Blue Ridge line. This piece features the "Yellow Nocturne" (also known as Ridge Daisy) pattern, showcasing vibrant, hand-painted yellow flowers that exemplify mid-century American craftsmanship.
Southern Potteries (Erwin, Tennessee)
Yellow Nocturne / Yellow Daisy
Made in the U.S.A. (Circa 1930s–1950s)
Approximately 6" Diameter.
Great vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
Features natural crazing consistent with age.
There are small spots of blue/yellow "spray" or "flecking" under the glaze. These are not defects, but original manufacturing marks from the hand-painting process at the Southern Potteries plant.
Unmarked/Unsigned (common for saucers in this line).
Blue Ridge pottery is famous for the fact that no two pieces are exactly alike. Because each flower was painted by hand, the slight variations and "paint spray" make this a unique piece of American ceramic history.
