Fit Note: These are a Slim Fit (snug, close-to-body fit for low bulk layering). If your main purpose is maximum warmth, we recommend sizing up by one size to allow extra air to be trapped between the skin and the base layer.

 

How to Measure Yourself: If you are between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If your measurements for chest and waist correspond to two different sizes, order the size indicated by your chest measurement for tops.

Choosing a Brand

How to Care for Your Base Layer

One of the best features of merino wool is that it doesn't need to be washed after every use. You can typically wear it for two weeks or even a month before it needs a wash, especially if you're not wearing it every day.

Hand Washing Instructions:

1.   Soak: Fill a basin with warm, soapy water. Submerge the base layer and let it soak for 30 to 45 minutes.

2.   Wash: Gently rub the fabric for three to five minutes to clean it. Avoid harsh scrubbing.

3.   Rinse: Rinse the garment two to three times in warm water until all the soap is gone.

4.   Squeeze Dry: Gently squeeze the water out of the garment. Do not wring or twist it, as this can stretch and damage the fibers.

5.   Air Dry: Lay the base layer flat on a clean surface or a towel to air dry at room temperature. Do not hang it on a hanger, as this can cause it to lose its shape and deform.

If your base layer ever becomes misshapen, don't worry. Simply rinse it in warm water, gently squeeze it dry, and lay it flat to air dry. It will return to its original shape.
