DESCRIPTION: Original full ticket stub from June 1, 1945. Chicago White Sox star Billy Pierce makes his MLB debut at age 18, coming in for relief as a member of the Detroit Tigers. Pierce picks up his first 4 career strikeouts. Pierce would go on to appear in 7 all-star games, win a World Series and an ERA title. He also accumulated almost 2,000 strikeouts and 211 career wins.
