The advantage to dinosaur creatures is that there are a wide variety of abilities on them, including artifact and enchantment destruction, fighting opposing creatures to act as removal, evasion through trample and flying, graveyard removal, lifegain, etc. You have a variety of creatures that can come out quickly and close out the game before your opponents can mount a defense. Pantlaza's discover ability also allows you to refill the board easily if your cards get destroyed.
