At the center of the dial, it showcases a decorative festive wreath design. They say the artwork on the clock was specially commissioned and signed exclusively for Howard Miller’s Sounds of the Season collection. The clock has quartz movement and plays a different Christmas song at the top of every hour strike, it can play up to 12 carols, that will get anyone in the holiday spirit. And the Christmas carols are supposed to automatically shut off during the nighttime hours. It consists of brass, metal, resin/plastic material. Measures approximately 7 3/4 inches in height, approximately 5 3/4 inches in width near the bottom and weighs approximately 2 pounds without batteries (requires 3-AA). This listing was previously owned and used with original box & instruction sheet. It is in really good condition and works when I tested it, I tried every song for about 10 seconds and they played.
