Edwards 4-NET-SMD SFP Singlemode Fibre Optic Network Controller Fire Alarm

The Edwards 4-NET-SMD is a single-mode, single-fibre (bidirectional) SFP network controller for the Edwards EST4 life safety control platform. It plugs into the SFP slots of the 4-CPU-E and other EST4 network devices, and it sets the cable type used at the panel.

It is the downlink half of a pair and works with the 4-NET-SMU uplink controller at the other end of the fibre. Panel data, voice audio and firefighters' telephone can all run over a single fibre.
