Vintage suede, fringed, custom-made mid-1800’s re-enactors coat used in Colorado fort for rendezvous, trapper days, and other special events along with riding a horse during events. There are four handmade and brown stained wooden toggle buttons which are considered to be the first kind of button. The coat maker patched a hole on the left sleeve (see photo). It was purchased this way. The owner went for authentic looking items, so I do not clean up or fix them. Again, this was worn by the fort’s campfire, while riding his horse, and looking appearing at mid-1800 Western events. The polyester blanket was used for photos only and not included.
