In this eerie and unsettling scene, a persistent satyr pursues a nymph who is clearly uninterested in his advances. The satyr's aggressive posture is captured with outstretched arms and hands, creating a sense of urgency in his pursuit. The nymph, however, remains unfazed and continues to evade his persistent and unsettling advances.
The satyr's devilish face and horns add to the overall frightening ambiance of the sculpture, highlighting the mythical and mysterious nature of this creature. The artist, Milo, has crafted this sculpture from solid bronze, utilizing the traditional "Lost Wax Method" to ensure fine detail and quality. The sculpture is finished with a brown patina, adding a touch of antiquity and preserving its unique characteristics.
This mythological scene, frozen in bronze, invites contemplation on the complexities and nuances of ancient tales. Milo's signature on the sculpture is a mark of authenticity, making this piece a noteworthy addition to any collection that appreciates the darker and enigmatic aspects of mythology and art.
