The story follows a professional hunter (Roy Thinnes) who is brought in to track a bank robbery suspect through a Louisiana swamp and winds up getting romantically involved with the suspect's wife, played by teen star Sandra Dee. Filmed in 1968, The Manhunter first aired in the UK in 1972 and did not air in the United States until 1976.
