This is a gorgeous little teacup and snack or luncheon plate made by the Nantucket Home. I pant.it appears to be made of porcelain, and has just a gorgeous rich pattern with Navy blue circles filled with pink rosebuds, rich green leaves, and gold accents. There is I know this same pattern in an old antique porcelain China pattern, but cannot remember the name, so this must be a reproduction of that set. I cannot say just how pretty these are, and so perfect for a little cup of soup, and a grilled cheese sandwich in winter, or hot tea with shortbread in the afternoon. I have some snack and tea sets, and I find I use them much more than I thought I would. As they say we eat with our eyes first, well everything just looks so inviting all done up on a beautiful little set like this. His piece would also be wonderful as a gift to a friend who has been u dear the weather, small, perfect for a small meal or snack, exactly what you need when under the weather, and you could give it to them with a small nosegay of flowers in it, so it has that .thoughtful touch, but is completely useable for the future. How about a lovely gift with teabags tied with. Big bow in the cup, and honey sticks and shortbread packages on the pate, or the same with hot chocolate and biscuits, so many lovely gift ideas with this one.
