This is a beautiful vintage 1956 Bulova ladies’ wristwatch in classic mid-century style. The case measures approximately 17mm across and is crafted in 10K rolled gold plate with a stainless steel back. The silver-tone dial features applied gold numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 with arrow markers at the other hours, paired with gold dauphine hands.
Inside is a Swiss Bulova 6BD manual-wind movement with 17 jewels, marked “L7” (1957), which is running. The caseback is stamped “Bulova L6” (1956), aligning the watch to the mid-1950s production period. The crown is signed “Bulova.” The watch is fitted with a gold-tone stretch bracelet.
Condition: The movement runs, but service history is unknown. The crystal has scratches, and the case shows wear consistent with age. Still, this watch displays very nicely and captures the elegant look of a mid-century Bulova ladies’ dress piece.
A charming vintage Bulova for collectors, jewelry lovers, or anyone who appreciates classic 1950s design.
