DESCRIPTION

The Macromatic PCPU is a three phase monitor relay that checks for phase reversal. This 8 pin plug in relay has a nominal voltage of 190-500V AC, with an output of 10A SPDT. The LED indicator on top of the unit stays green if everything is functioning correctly or turns red if a phase reversal is detected. The diagram on top of the unit describes how the LED shows the current status. The PCPU uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket.

The wide voltage range of the PCPU allows it to be put to use in a greater number of applications. Please note if the system voltage is above 300V, this relay needs to be used with a 600V rated socket. This unit becomes energized when the correct voltage is introduced and phase rotation is in the right order. If a phase reversal occurs, the electrical relay will de-energize, or be kept from energizing if the error occurs on start-up. The relay will energize on its own once the error is fixed, without requiring a manual reset. The phase sequence needs to be A-B-C for the unit to stay energized, it will not accept a C-B-A rotation. The PCPU is most useful in areas where motor direction is especially important or sequence detection is deemed necessary due to code.

But if the package has been sent to you as per your order and you want to return for some reason, you may send us back at your own cost and the full refund would be issued to you on receiving the package back in our warehouse.
